Sleeping Cinderella and Other Princess Mix-ups

Sleeping Cinderella was an opportunity for me to play with the tropes of four famous princesses: Snow White, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. Each one believes that switching places with the other princess will solve their problem, only to find that no one’s situation is ideal. I was working on this book after Uni the Unicorn had come out and was successful, and I recall the publisher asking that I change up my style a bit to help differentiate this book visually from Uni. I decided to use line based artwork, which also gave it a nice classical fairytale feel. It has a rhyming text too, which makes for such a pleasant read aloud.
