Ozma of Oz

This painting was part of a group exhibition at Gallery Nucleus called Not in Kansas Anymore: A Tribute to the Wizard of Oz. I watched the movie Return to Oz MANY, many times as a kid and the character that stuck with me most was the magical, ethereal princess Ozma. I read most of the Oz books too, and in those she’s a very prevalent and interesting character. I’d love to illustrate a series of Oz books – I have A LOT of ideas!
