Apricot and Pomegranate

These pieces were part of an online group exhibition and auction called Artists for Armenia. The proceeds were donated to help displaced Armenians who were affected by the 2020 conflicts. I have many Armenian friends and acquaintances, so it was truly an honor to be asked to participate in an event with a cause so close to my heart. I chose two fruits that carry a lot of meaning and symbolic value in Armenian culture: the apricot is the national fruit of Armenia, and the pomegranate is a symbol of abundance. They are also both beautiful, and delicious!
