This painting was part of a group exhibition at the Wonderground Gallery, the art gallery in Downtown Disney, right next to Disneyland. I wanted to harness the bizarre, surreal, happy energy of early Mickey rubber-hose cartoons. They made t-shirts with this image on them! My mom still has one.
